Restoran Ve Seng, Kuantan

There is an abundance of coffee shops along Jalan Wong Ah Jang. This time around we tried Ve Seng. There are less than 15 stalls in this restaurant but the variety of food offered is quite impressive.

The two of us went in for breakfast. We  ordered  milo with ice (RM2) and iced tea (RM1.60). Both drinks were satisfactory.

This is called Sungai Lembing noodles.  For RM4,  I  got a bowl of kuay teow with 3 yong taufu and some shredded chicken.  The broth was tasty but I didn’t quite like the yong taufu which to me was slightly burnt.

The pork noodles (RM4)  was cooked with lots of pork balls as well as fish balls and pork iver, thus making the soup incredibly rich and saporous.

We also tried the dry noodles (RM3.80) . This is wanton noodles served with a generous helping of char siew and a bowl of wanton soup.
