Lohas, USJ Taipan

Lohas - Lifestyle of Health & Sustainability has numerous outlets in Klang Valley. The concept of Lohas is simple i.e to live happily and in doing so to be environmentally friendly.

I had the chance to savour the food at their USJ outlet one hot evening. The place has air conditioning and was a pleasant experience. The shop is basically divided into 2 – the front section for dining and the second half is a store selling items such as fresh vegetables, fruits, biscuits, noodles, etc.



Skin enhancer juice (RM6.90) eye sight booster (RM6.90) and raw honey (RM3.90). Wow! What exotic names they have for the juices. Well, the eye sight booster juice is a concoction of apple, orange & grapes. The skin enhancer juice is the one on the right (the orange coloured drink).

This is Cantonese style yee mee (RM9.90) – a very healthy dish with lots of vegetables. I like the fact that it wasn’t oily.

The Hokkien noodles (RM10.90) looked similar to the Cantonese yee mee ..well, er......except that it had a dark colour. Taste wise, hmmm…I must say they taste almost alike too.

This is high energy sandwich (RM7.90) –another very healthy food with lots of vegetables, and was surprisingly tasty although it had no meat in it.

Mushroom sauce ramen served in a mickey mouse plate (RM10.90) was a hit with the kiddo whom I brought along for dinner. It is served with some Korean seaweed and a 5-grain bar. The ramen was soft and delicious.

After a gratifying meal, I proceeded to buy some organic vegetables for tomorrow’s lunch J
