Suma is a Japanese restaurant located on the 6th
floor of the Sogo Shopping Complex. As you enter Sogo, take the lifts on your
right to level 6 and it will open right at Suma’s entrance.
I was rather surprised to find this place abuzz on a
working day. Many office workers from the banks nearby were having their meal
there. A quick look at the menu tells me that prices here are on the higher
end.
I ordered an express bento which costs RM40. The wait for
its arrival was rather long. So much so for an EXPRESS bento, huh!
The bento consisted of a bowl of rice –not any ordinary
bowl, but one that is what I’ll called shaped like a 5-petal flower. It came
with unagi as well as salmon sashimi. The sashimi was thinly sliced and very
fresh. Along with this bento was also a bowl of miso soup and some salad. 2
slices each of watemelons and honeydew as dessert completed my lunch for today.
