This restaurant certainly has a
rather unique name. It serves an impressive medley of Chinese food.
We were first served with appetiser
which came in the form of french beans, peanuts and anchovies coated in a
special sauce that was simply a great
palate opener.
The watermelon juice was
refreshing.
This is the pork combo (RM30) which
was made up of roasted pork and barbequed pork. I love the fact that the
roasted pork beautifully crisp whilst the barbequed pork was wasn’t fat.
Claypot beancurd (RM15)
Green dragon vegetable (RM15) –
stir fried with garlic to create the most remarkable stir fried vege dish.
Steam cod fish (RM25) – you may say
‘what’s so great about this dish?’. Well, look at how the dish is served. I’ve
never had cod fish steamed this way – ie the fish is cut into bit sizes and
then steamed. I must say that I’ve today made a new discovery – cod fish
steamed this way definitely look and taste better as the flavours of the gravy
as just bursting in every slice.
In short, the kitchen hadn’t put a
wrong foot on any of the dishes.
