This is a very popular
restaurant located parallel to the Federal Highway.
The ambience leaves a lot
to be desired but every time I come here, I am amazed at how packed and crowded
this place can be.
I was there last weekend and
the place was really abuzz. I could easily identify some well-known figures
from the Malaysian political arena.
This is one of their signature
dishes – claypot crab rice. The crab is always served in a separate plate,
having done its part in the cooking process. I was told that the crab is placed
over white rice so that as the cooking process goes on, the juice from the crab
will flow onto the rice, thus making the rice fragrant & of course,
delicious.
If you have never had this dish
before, you would probably scratch your head wondering what this is. Well, its …believe
it or not- super crunchy deep fried brinjals with meat floss on top.
