The signboard says Swee Huan
Yong Taufu -because this is what is
served if you come here earlier in the day. In the evenings, Swee Huan then
becomes a seafood restaurant serving fresh fish unrivalled by many others.
I arrive at 6pm on an evening
with dark clouds hovering above. I chose to sit in the covered area and not
dine alfresco, just in case the rain comes pouring down…you never know!
Since there were only 3 of
us, we decided to try the recommended fish in claypot – cooked with black
fungus, the freshness of the fish could be felt with every bite.
Stir fried asparagus – a very
simple dish that was good.
Homemade bean curd with
chilli sauce -this was once again fresh
and superb.
This meal cost less than RM50
and I must say it was value for money.
